I have very little bone left — can I still get implants?
Yes. Dr. Balamurugan is trained in Zygomatic, Pterygoid and Basal (Bicortex) implants — advanced techniques specifically developed for patients with severely resorbed bone. These implants bypass the deficient area and anchor in denser bone, allowing fixed teeth without bone grafting in most cases.
How long does the full implant process take?
Standard single implants take 3–6 months from placement to final crown. Full arch cases (All-on-4) can deliver fixed teeth within 24–48 hours of surgery. Zygomatic and basal implant cases are often immediate-load, meaning you leave with teeth on the same day.
Are clear aligners suitable for adults?
Yes — the majority of our aligner patients are adults and working professionals. Aligners are ideal for adults who want effective teeth straightening without the social visibility of metal braces. They are removable for eating, drinking and social occasions.
Can aligners fix my bite, not just the appearance?
Clear aligners can correct mild to moderate bite issues including overbite, underbite, crossbite and open bite. For complex skeletal discrepancies, Dr. Balamurugan will advise whether aligners alone suffice or whether a combined orthodontic-surgical approach is needed.
Can TMJ disorder be completely cured?
Many patients achieve complete symptom resolution with proper conservative treatment. Others require long-term management. The key is accurate diagnosis — most patients who have not responded to previous treatment simply had the wrong diagnosis or the wrong treatment approach.
